FEES AND PAYMENT POLICIES
Information about Insurance
I have agreements with a variety of Insurance Companies and some companies have several different plans, each with its own schedule of benefits. In addition, most insurance companies limit maximum charges for services. You should contact your Insurance Company and obtain authorization number and number of visits prior to beginning treatment.
Information about fees
For those individuals who do not have insurance benefits I offer a lower fee for cash payments. My basic fee is $150 for a fifty-minute therapeutic hour. The fee for an initial consultation is $170. Fees and payment arrangements should be discussed during the initial consultation.
Information about payment arrangements
In general, payment is expected at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Since many insurance plans differ in their requirements there are often several options available regarding insurance submission. Insurance submission can be discussed during the first vist.
I only charge interest on accounts where appropriate payment has NOT been made AND my office has not been contacted to make payment arrangements. Interest free payment agreements are available for those who cannot pay what at the time of service. This can be discussed at any time with me by calling me 303- 753-9258.
Information about cancellation policies
Time scheduled for you is not available to any other individual. Consequently, if you do not use this time it is not available to others who want to use my services. Therefore I observe the following cancellation and no show policy.
A late cancellation fee of $75 (one half my usual hourly fee) is charged per occurrence if there is less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation (unless it is a real emergency). If I am not notified by the time of your appointment time and we do not meet for our scheduled appointment (no show) then I charge my full hourly fee of $150 per occurrence. Insurance does NOT cover late cancellation and no show fees. My office will attempt to contact you immediately if for some reason I cannot make it into my office because of weather or for any other reason.
